To conduct unbiased and comprehensive research and analysis of the impact of the proposed Hess Weaver's Cove Energy (HWCE) Project on Jamestown and surrounding area. LNG WG is a Strategic Partner of Save the Bay.      

Conclusion:

The Hess Weaver's Cove project is unnecessary and not right for Narragansett Bay.

                 RESOLUTIONS / FERC

LNG WG and municipalities, officials and organizations in RI and MA successfully joined forces.  The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) acknowledged receipt of signed Anti-LNG resolutions, researched and drafted by the LNG WG, with other documents totally 69 pages. FERC is the federal agency that will decide the LNG issue for Narragansett Bay and Weaver's Cove.
